Cannabis Amnesty Virtual Town Hall

Interactive Virtual Town Hall on Social Justice

Event overview

The Cannabis Amnesty Town Hall on Racial Justice is the flagship event for the organization and was designed to provide a forum for discussing the way that racial justice is intimately tied with the development of cannabis laws and policies in Canada, situating the advocacy work they do in the broader historical and social context.

This livestreamed event consisted of nine remote speakers from various locations. The emcee was presenting from a studio and was streamed live from location. There were also multiple ways the audience could interact, including live chat, Q&A and polls. The event drew an audience of 550 people.
